Beauty (eye of the beholder)
Spot illustration and seamless pattern, both available for licensing.
Hummingbirds are one of my favorite subjects because they strangely mix the aesthetic of birds and insects. You get all the beauty of a bird at an insect scale.
Their elegant little beaks and the metallic sheen of their feathers make them perfect for many different types of color treatment. Also their scale fits beautifully with large blooms.
This is how the seamless pattern came out - monochrome options always calm busy patterns and make them a lot more attractive on large surfaces such as walls or home decor elements.
It's available for purchase on wallpaper from the great folks at Feathr Wallpapers - check out their other designs too, they want to banish boring wallpaper design and replace it with art on walls.
